Bf 109 E-1 (Wk-Nr. 4072), 2./JG 77, Sept. 1939, Hptm. Hannes Trautloft
======================================================================

(V2.1, 29.03.2002)

Since there was no Emil skin for my Poland '39 campaign I decided to do one by myself. :)
I used quite a lot of different files, so I just included the original readme texts to thank all guys who contributed to this plane. Unfortunately I don't know who unmirrored the Bf 109 E. Since I used this most recent 3dz thanks to this unknown 3dz'er too. :)

Note: The skin should have the RLM70/71 splinter camo. Unfortunately the standard EAW palette does not offer two dark green, so I left the skin this way. I think it's more authentic than using a brighter green instead of. I hope you like it.

Changes in V2.1
===============

Ghostboy removed the cannon barrels from the plane and cockpit 3dz cause the wing MG 17 were not that big. I edited the gun tracers accordingly.

Changes in V2.0
===============

I rebuilt the skin completely. Used various files for this. As far as I remember most are from Claudio Wilches (belly, wing and basic skin). I adapted it for this profile and changed more or less details. Further more I changed some skin mapping in the 3dz.

Installation:
=============

If you don't use it with my Poland campaign, do the following:
Select the Bf 109 E-1 with ECA Panel. Afterwards copy all included files not beginning with '_' to your EAW directory. That's it.
If you use it with the Poland campaign, just copy the files to the EAW directory. Don't use ECA Panel!

Have fun,
Andy.

Original Skin readme
====================

This Bf 109D-1, 1/JGr 102 (I/ZG2), was used during the Poland "BlitzKrieg" Campaign, 1939. It wore an overall Black-Green (RLM 70 Schwarzgrn) with Light-blue undersides (RLM 65 Hellblau), a very early painting scheme. - 3dz work - Jean Pigeon - Cockpit color and instruments - Migge - Exterior and wing view paint job - Claudio Wilches For further details, cwrio@novanet.com.br - Claudio Wilches

Cockpit readme
==============

Like some other pilots, I was bored by the unrealistic blue virtual cockpit of the Emil.
So I made a custom grey one, compilating and modifying things made by other skinners.
I only took them and put them together.

This archive includes 4 zip files, with 4 differents wings colors.

THE *.PCX FILES ARE PROVIDED FOR EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO USE THEM FOR Me109E SKINS,
SO FEEL FREE TO USE THEM.

A big "thank you" to all of you, and all the other artists of the EAW community.
